Habshan Major Projects Description
Habshan - 5 Process Plant
Habshan 5 Process is designed to process 1000 MMSCFD Offshore gas from Umm Shaif and additional 1000 MMSCFD onshore gas comprising of a mix of associated gas from ADCO (1.8 MBPD Expansion) and non-associated high sour gas from Habshan fields (Total plant capacity : 2150 MMSCFD). The facilities are designed to produce 750 MMSCFD sales gases, 12000 TPD NGL and 5,200 TPD Sulphur.
Habshan - 5 Utilities & Offsites
The project is designed to provide various Utilities and Offsite facilities required for the operation of Habshan 5 Process Plant (Viz. Steam, Power, Sulphur Storage & Loading, Debottlenecking of existing facilities at Habshan/Bab, New pipelines, Process Buildings etc.).
Sulphur Granulation Plant (HSGP)
The project envisages transportation of liquid sulphur from Habshan 1 to 4 and Habshan 5 Plants via electrically heated Pipelines, Storage of Liquid Sulphur, Granulation, Storage of Granulated Sulphur and loading on to Rail Wagons. The scope also includes the facilities for Sulphur Stock Piling in the form of Blocks.
Nitrogen Injection (Pure Case)
The project envisages revamping of one of the existing Injection Compressors at Habshan 3 (Unit 394) to handle pure nitrogen and installation of a new Injection Compressor at Habshan 1(Unit 98) to inject pure Nitrogen (600 MMSCFD) in the northern area of Thammama 'F' reservoir, after reconfiguring the residue gas injection system at ADCO side.
